Keith was born in New Westminster and raised in Richmond and Oliver, BC.  He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science, Agriculture (1982) and a Licentiate in Accounting (1985).  Keith articled with HLB Cinnamon Jang Willoughby and Company, Chartered Professional Accountants and Consultants and qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 1992.  He joined the Vancouver office of national firm BDO Canada in 1998 where he was promoted to Senior Manager, Assurance Services.  In 2007, Keith left BDO to practice as a sole practitioner.  For several years, and on a full-time basis during 2011, he served as a consultant to De Visser Gray LLP, subsequently joining the firm as a partner in 2012 upon the retirement of Peter de Visser.
